Safeguarding

The Diocese of Blackburn

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, BOLTON LE SANDS.

“Safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of everyone of us.  It is central to our mission and ministry and is integral in the Diocesan Vision which asks us to consider how to make our church communities healthier.”  (Blackburn Diocesan website.)

As Christians we believe that all are made in God’s image and every person is loved and valued by God.  At Holy Trinity church we are committed to striving to make our church a safe place for everyone, where all feel welcomed, respected and safe from harm.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and we have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers, (PSOs):

Kath Lane, (contact details: tel 01524 727814.  e mail [email protected] )

Please contact them if you are concerned a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm.
