Bolton-le-Sands CE Primary School Governor Vacancies
With the retirement of several long serving Governors at the end of this term, we are looking to appoint 3 new Foundation Governors to the School’s Governing Body. Foundation Governors are appointed by the PCC in conjunction with the Diocese. Ideally, they will be people with a Christian background, who worship at Holy Trinity or St Mark’s, or at any other church in the parish, or in a neighbouring parish. They do not need to have a background in education – a Governing Body needs a variety of skills and experience in different areas. They do not need to have a current connection with Bolton-le-Sands CE Primary School. This is an exciting time as the school moves towards appointing a new Headteacher to replace Mr Daniel Hargreaves, who will be taking up the post of Headteacher at Torrisholme Community School in January. The Governing Body meets once a term, with termly meetings for its various subcommittees.
