Code Cracking Afternoon (Ages 7+)- Booking required
Thursday 23rd July, 2.30pm -3.30pm
Join us for an afternoon of creating, cracking, and coding though fun activities with beads, Lego and making your own codes.
Finger Football Champions- a drop in
Monday 27th July – Saturday 1st August
Make your own finger football champion and design a kit for your dream team. Play finger football in the library – could your finger footballer be a champion?
Suitable for all ages- just drop in anytime the library is open. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Pirate Ships and Treasure Maps- a drop in
Monday 3rd August – Saturday 8th August
Ahoy there me hearties! Create your own pirate ships from paper plates and treasure maps to hide treasure.

Make a Mosaic- a drop in

Have fun with shapes and colours by creating your own fancy mosaic.

Pirate Picnic (Ages 0-8)- Booking required
Wednesday 12th August, 10.00-11.00am
Shiver me timbers! We’re holding a picnic for all pirates and their landlubbers. Enjoy stories, games and crafts. We’ll picnic outdoors if it’s sunny or we’ll picnic inside if it’s rainy. Please bring your own picnic rugs and snacks to enjoy.
Handprint Parrots- a drop in
Monday 17th August- Saturday 22nd August
Every pirate need their own parrot. Come along to this drop-in and make your own parrot decorated with you own handprints.

Perk up your ears as we listen for the human and natural sounds of a busy summer. We will use songs, activities, and our imagination to learn about William and Dorothy Wordsworth’s writing and travel with them across woods, towns, and the seaside by day and night, encountering noisy and quiet sounds as we go. In partnership with Wordsworth Grasmere.
