Morecambe Bay Foodbank has been providing food to people in crisis in the Lancaster and Morecambe Bay area for over seven years and we have increasingly seen a demand for school uniforms from families who find it difficult to afford them.

During this Coronavirus pandemic, The Uniform Project will be collecting brand-new uniforms only to distribute to families who need them using the same voucher and referral system that we use for food. We also have a good supply of free, gently used and washed uniform donated before the outbreak of the virus that will be made available.

In order to help us prepare, we are requesting that you complete a short 3-minute survey: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/XNFZTYV. The survey is anonymous and confidential and will be used to provide data to the Morecambe Bay Foodbank to help us attract future funding for The Uniform Project, as well as identify need in the Lancaster and Morecambe Bay area.

If you are interested in accessing The Uniform Project, you will need to contact one of our referral agencies or your school. The referral process will be open from Monday 29 June 2020. Please note that you cannot self-refer. Confirmation of the items you have requested will made available in mid-August.

Yours faithfully,

Annette Smith
