Please be aware that the greens will close from 13.00 hrs on Monday 20th April for the STRI inspection until the inspection is over.

At the March parish council meeting it was decided to fund a defibrillator for the south end of the village to be sited in the soon to be redundant payphone at the junction of Main Road and the A6.
There still exists two vacancies on the parish council. Anyone interested in taking an active part in the decision-making process of the Parish and to represent the interest of the whole community should write to The Clerk, Bolton-le-Sands Parish Council, No. 2 The Shore, Bolton-le-Sands noting their interest and telling us a little about yourself.
Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus, the parish council felt it should consider the welfare of its residents and has postponed the Annual Assembly until further notice.
A Coffee Morning in aid of the Sports Pavilion raised £210.00. Cllr Leak met with a member of the tennis club to discuss replacement nets and the parish council will donate £100 towards one net. Lancaster City Council will re-line the courts in line with League’s requirements. As a long-term project the parish council will look into funding for re-surfacing the courts.
The Annual Bonfire and Firework Display hopefully will take place on the Recreation Field on 7th November 2020.
The next parish council meeting has been scheduled for Monday 6th April at 7.00pm in The Old Boy’s School. However, this may change with Coronavirus legislation.
