Please Note : Buttons and Bows Lancaster UK Are No Longer Holding Workshops …..
However, Our Group IS Still Operative This Is How!!!
We Are Working From Home.
During this Covid -19 Pandemic we have continued working from home making baby clothes for abandoned children and those who are in need around the world, including the UK.
Are you a person who likes knitting, sewing, crochet?
Below are just some of the things we make that are useful for these groups :
Dresses, shorts, knitted jumpers up to 13 / 14 years, blankets, toilet bags.
If you want to help but cannot make anything, pre-packed underwear,
briefs and vests for girls and boys are always needed.
There is a greater need for our work as more children are suffering as a result of the problems associated with the pandemic.
During lockdown our ladies have continued to be busy making baby clothes for abandoned children and those who are in need around the world, including the UK. We have had a few ‘collection’ days when finished items have been handed in, sorted and sent on to a wide range of destinations. It was not possible to send some items to their usual destinations so alternatives were found, as restrictions are lifted this will be revised again. We hope to send some items to Zambia soon.
Are you a person who likes knitting, sewing or crochet? Perhaps you would like to help us.
We make dresses, shorts, knitted jumpers up to 13/14 years, blankets, hats, scarfs, toilet bags. If you would like to help but cannot make anything, we accept pre-packed underwear, briefs and vests for girls and boys as these are always needed.
We also accept knitted six inch squares, these are made up into blankets and sent to a hospital in Ethiopia.
