Bishop Jill will lead the service for the Installation of our new vicar, Revd Peter Hamborg, on Sunday 24th April at 7.00pm at Holy Trinity. Archdeacon David Picken will induct the new vicar into his new church in the traditional way, by knocking at the main door, visiting the font, pulpit and lectern, after which Revd Peter will take his place in the Vicar’s stall.
We will be welcoming other local clergy, and visitors from Peter’s former parish in Preston, but the service is open to all, and there will be a warm welcome for everyone, regular parishioners and visitors alike. It will be very busy around the church, so it might be a good idea to arrive a bit earlier than usual, so that you can shown to an appropriate seat.
