Friday 19th November : Just a quick note to bring you up to date with Parish Giving Day. Total receipts are now £10225 with two outstanding pledges totaling £150. Most of the donations qualify for Gift Aid so there will be a further £2500+ to add to our claim next year. There were 53 separate donations/pledges, although many will of course have been on behalf of two or more people. There are also three pledges to increase monthly standing orders.
It is also pleasing to see on the Diocesan website that our (full-time) vacancy is now advertised, with a closing date for applicants of 3rd December with interviews to be held on 14th December.
