ADVENT AUCTION

  • Bidding will be open from 2.00pm. Saturday November 29th until the close at 9:00pm December 13th 2025. Results published Wednesday 17th December.
  • By bidding in the Auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.
  • Holy Trinity Church reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the Auction.
  • Auction item purchases are final. No returns or exchanges will be issued, nor is it possible for expiration dates to be extended. All items are “as is”.
  • Holy Trinity Church provides no guarantees, warranties or servicing of auction items and is not liable for any personal injury or damage to property that may result from the use of the item or service sold.
  • To make a bid for any Auction item, simply complete a bidding form.
  • You may bid on any item in the Auction until the item is closed.
  • Once the auction is declared closed, the highest bid shall constitute the winning bid. In the event of a dispute, Holy Trinity Church Social Committee will act as the final authority.
  • The winning bidder will be contacted to arrange payment (Credit card, cheque, direct debit). Once payment has been made items must be collected from Holy Trinity Church, Bolton-le-Sands.
  • Any item left unclaimed by 20th December will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold.

The Terms and Conditions set out below apply to all transactions on the Holy Trinity Website. Please read through these carefully before placing your order. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any orders received after the Terms and Conditions change.

Prices

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order, the prices are inclusive of UK VAT as appropriate. Errors and Omissions are excluded, i.e. we reserve the right not to send an item if we make a pricing error, in this event we will inform you of this as soon as we possibly can.

Payment

Payments are processed by Sumup. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the transaction secure. We cannot be held liable for any losses caused by security problems outside our control. If we have reason to suspect that your details have been obtained fraudulently, we will endeavour to let you know as soon as we can. Please note, your card will be charged at time of placing an order. This secures your order on our system and allows our system to go through its fraud screening processes.

Cancelling an Order

As a customer, you are free to cancel an order within 14 days and will be refunded the amount of your order to the account the order originally was paid from.

Acceptance of an Order

When an order is placed you will get an order confirmation sent to the email address you provided during checkout, containing information about order content, prices.

Delivery

Currently we are only offering collection at a pre-arranged time from Holy Trinity Church Bolton le Sands.  We cannot be responsible from any delays beyond our control:

Returns Policy

Holy Trinity Church, Bolton le Sands accepts returns within 14 days if products are not used.  This does not apply to items such as plants. Products need to be returned in original packaging.  Please contact us if you wish to return any product:
