“Sadly our banner has now been defaced twice.
The banner was paid for by money donated by our communities.
Damaging property is wrong. We welcome discussion with whoever felt the need to get their message out there.
The person who has defaced our banner clearly has political motives and accuses us of cosying up to David Morris.
As we have made very clear previously, our sole wish is to retain our local green belt.
We are not politically affiliated with any party, politics is not our concern.
However, anyone who wishes to promote our cause is welcomed regardless of their political beliefs. We need as much help as we can get
We are tight on funds for leaflets, banners, posters etc. The whole fight is mentally draining. We do not need conflict dragging us down.
WE NEED UNITY NOT DIVISION and NOT ATTACKS on the group that is DEFENDING YOUR AREA.”
