Mondays: 9.15am- 9.45am Baby Bounce and Rhyme
Enjoy lively sing-along songs, gentle movements, and rhymes with your child, plus meet and chat with other parents and carers. Suitable for babies and toddlers.
Wednesdays: 1.30pm- 3pm Games Afternoon
Enjoy our range of board games or bring your own along for an informal fun afternoon of play. Meet new people and make new friends whilst playing board games in the library. Just drop in on the day. Suitable for grown-ups.
3.30pm- 4.30pm Homework Hour
Free homework help for primary and secondary school pupils. Get free access to great stuff online that will practically do your homework for you! Including subscription sites we’ve paid for so you don’t have to and websites chosen by librarians but recommended by Lancashire teachers to fit in with the National Curriculum. Also get free print-outs in the library for homework related material.
Thursdays: 5pm-6pm Quiet Hour
Browse the books, sit and read a story, or use our public computers and free Wi-Fi as normal – with a little less noise than usual.
Fridays: 10.30am-12.30pm Scrabble Club
Drop in and enjoy a game of scrabble in the library with good company. Suitable for grownups. All abilities welcome!
2pm-4pm Craft and Chat
Bring along whatever you are crafting and enjoy a relaxing chat while you craft. All Crafters welcome, especially beginners.
Saturdays: 10am-11am Lego Club
Calling all master builders and Lego enthusiasts! Come and share your passion and amazing creations at our Lego Club. All you need is your imagination! Suitable for children and young people, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
