Phone a friend
Happy New Year!
I think we are all praying for a healthy New Year too.
In these unprecedented times many of us have experienced extreme loneliness and sadness as we are distanced from friends and family.
Please think about your circle of friends and check that you are staying in contact with them by phone. It’s really good to know that many of you are doing this on a regular basis and it goes a long way to staving off the loneliness, but we do need to make sure that we are reaching as many people as we can.
Just a quick call with a few friendly words is all it takes. Think especially of the elderly who live alone and are isolating. Sometimes a conversation with them may be the only chance they get to speak to someone that day.
