Safeguarding Sunday
On Sunday 17 November 2024 join thousands of churches from diverse backgrounds and traditions across the UK to shout about safeguarding and help protect vulnerable people
This initiative is spearheaded by Thirtyone:eight invites communities to come together to reflect on their own safeguarding journey. Last year over 4,000 churches took part, with an estimated reach of 240,000 people. This year, with your help, we can make an even greater impact to vulnerable people across the UK.
Safeguarding Audit
The Diocese of Blackburn is due to have an audit of its Safeguarding policy and practice by and external auditor called INEQE. As part of the audit they are seeking feedback on everyone’s experience of safeguarding and it is really important to gather as much feedback as possible from various people around the Diocese in order that we can learn about the areas of success and where we can develop and improve.
Please take a moment to complete the survey and promote it amongst others that you know. The survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
