An Exhibition of Members’ Icons in Liverpool during Autumn 2023
The BAI is always proud to present an Exhibition of its members’ work. This is for all members. The BAI encourages and welcomes the work of artists, old and new to iconography, whilst acknowledging that the talent and expertise of the professional iconographers will always be discernible, the novice’s work is also much valued.
The Exhibition this year will take place from Friday, September 29th to Sunday, October 1st 2023.
There will be an opening reception on the evening of Thursday, September 28th 2023

Notes for Exhibitors
In the first instance, those wishing to exhibit should send an e-mail to the BAI Treasurer ([email protected]) who will then pass on their contact details to the Exhibition Secretary who will then contact them for more information about the icons to be exhibited.
All payments should be made by Saturday 15th July, 2023. Initial submissions may not be accepted after this date. The hanging fee is £6 per icon. There is a reduced rate of £3 per icon for those on means-tested benefits.

Icons can be delivered in person to Liverpool Parish Church during the afternoon of Thursday 28th September.
Alternatively, they can be posted to The Rev’d C. N. Perrins, to arrive between Monday, 11th and Friday 22nd September, 2023.

At the end of the Exhibition all icons are to be collected in person by the iconographer, or someone else on their behalf (arranged by the iconographer).
The Association AGM will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 1st October, 2023, at the Exhibition in Liverpool.
The Association and the members of its committee accept no responsibility for any icon submitted at any time. Individual iconographers remain responsible for their icons throughout and should arrange their own insurance against theft, damage and loss.
There are various hotels in Liverpool from cheap to expensive with quite a few within walking distance from the Parish Church. A quick search on-line will give you further information.
There are also some retreat centres which tend to be to the north of the city at varying distances from the Northern Line (which goes to Moorfields – the railway station near to the Parish Church). Here are the websites for them:
